Vandals hit 6 cars in Northridge with gang graffiti, shattered glass

Residents of a Northridge neighborhood woke up on Christmas morning to see their parked cars tagged with gang-related messages and shattered windows, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Dec. 25th, around 6 vehicles parked in the 19600 block of Prairie Street were vandalized with spray-painted, gang-related tags and had their windows broken, LAPD Officer David Cullar said.

LAPD personnel received calls about the vandalism and instructed residents on how to file their police reports online, Cullar said.

As of Dec 27, there was no information available about possible suspects.
