Volunteer with Midpen
Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is looking for community volunteers to be trained as. Midpen docent naturalists. Docents host hundreds of free guided activities for the public throughout Midpen preserves including hiking, mountain biking, exercise and nature study.
In addition, nearly 1,000 community volunteers contribute more than 20,000 hours annually through various volunteer programs and projects in the preserves.
Volunteer programs at Midpen include single-day, hands-on, staff-led group land steward projects in Midpen preserves for interested individuals. For more information and to sign up for current projects, visit https://volunteer.openspace.org.

Santa Clara County is kicking off a study to determine the feasibility of adding a multi-use path for walking, biking and rolling along Foothill Expressway.
The path is intended to improve safety and mobility across approximately 10 miles of corridor from Alpine Road at Santa Cruz Avenue in San Mateo County to Cristo Rey and Starling drives in Cupertino.
