WATCH: Bandfest 2025 returns to Pasadena City College

The 45th annual Bandfest took place on Dec. 29 and 30, featuring marching bands from across the globe that will be partaking in the 137th Pasadena Rose Parade on New Year’s Day.

The event acts not only as a preview event for the marching bands that have been selected to participate in the annual parade, but also allows them to showcase their routine for a crowd of friends, family and fans.

Bandfest happens at Pasadena City College at Robinson Stadium. The first day included performances by the Pasadena City College Herald Trumpets, the Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band, the Sound of Brownsburg, the Salvation Army Tournament of Roses Band, Delfines Marching Band, Los Angeles Unified School District All District High School Honor Band and Magnificent Marching Band (M3) from Morgan State University.

In addition to performance on the field, each band also does a passing review where they march along the track as a preview for what fans can expect to see from their routine during the Rose Parade on Jan. 1.
