Westbound Interstate 70 was closed Monday in Arapahoe County for a crash involving two semitrailers, according to the sheriff’s office.
As of 12:15 p.m. Monday, westbound I-70 was closed at exit 328 for Deer Trail, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Photos posted by the sheriff’s office at 12:03 p.m. Monday showed two semitrailers — one carrying tires and another carrying paper products — crashed on the highway. Each of the trucks’ trailers was damaged, and one of the cabs was resting against the guardrail without a large portion of its passenger side.
Information about the cause of the crash and when westbound I-70 is expected to reopen was not immediately available.
No injuries were reported in the crash, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
