Westbound Interstate 70 is closed near Rifle after a commercial vehicle crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The highway closed between exit 90 for Colorado 13 and exit 87 for Rifle just before 4 p.m. and was still closed as of 5:20 p.m., according to a CDOT alert.
Drivers should expect delays in the area.
