Wienerschnitzel has launched new value combos with two of its signature items.
“All American Deals” start at $4 for two Corn Dogs and a small order of fries. A $6 deal includes two Chili Cheese Dogs and a regular order of Classic Chili Cheese Fries. An $8 deal includes two Chili Dogs, two Corn Dogs and a regular order of chili cheese fries.
The offer is for original Chili Dogs and Chili Cheese Dogs only, according to the Newport Beach-based chain’s website.
Ordered separately, chili dogs run about $3.49 each, chili cheese dogs run $3.89, corn dogs run $2.99 and chili cheese fries run $5.29.
The promotion is in keeping with Wienerschnitzel’s mission to serve American food, not just hot dogs. The chain recently added chicken tenders and a South Carolina chicken sandwich called Bird Dogs to its menu.
Wienerschnitzel is currently serving cotton candy-flavored shakes and dipped ice cream cones, although those items are listed as leaving soon on the chain’s website. So is an item called the Ultimate Chili Cheeseburger Fries Burrito, featuring chopped hamburger, fries and the chain’s signature chili sauce wrapped in a burrito.
It has other promotions going. Its website is calling Tuesday, Sept. 9, National Wienerschnitzel Day and offering customers one free original chili dog, no cheese, per guest with any purchase on that day. And every Wednesday in September is Wiener Wednesday. Customers can get four original chili dogs for $4. Again, cheese is extra.
