Winter Park will open for skiing and riding Friday, tying the earliest season debut in its 87-year history. Winter Park also opened on Halloween in 2022.
Keystone was the first to open on Saturday, and Arapahoe Basin followed on Sunday. Breckenridge and Copper Mountain are scheduled to open Nov. 7.
Winter Park will operate from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday. The resort’s news release announcing the opening did not include the amount of terrain that will be offered or a ticket window price for three hours of skiing.
Lifts will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, with tickets costing $69, according to the website.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, the Derailer Bar will feature $1 draft Coors Light beers, while supplies last. There will be some branded Coors Light giveaways as well.
