A woman was critically injured after a hit-and-run driver struck her Wednesday afternoon in a Little Village parking lot.
The 69-year-old was standing in a lot about 1:20 p.m. in the 3000 block of West 26th Street when a driver sped by and hit her then fled the scene, Chicago police said.
She suffered a fractured skull and back injuries, and she was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
