Woman dies in UK city centre hotel as forensics swoop & guests ‘warned not to leave’ their rooms
A WOMAN has died in a city centre hotel yesterday.
The female was found unconscious inside the Lord Nelson Hotel on Hotham Street in Liverpool at around 1.40pm.
Emergency services attended the scene, but she was sadly pronounced deceased.
The force said an investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident and the cause of her death.
It was reported locally that guests staying in the hotel were being told not to leave their rooms.
Forensics in white suits could be seen going in and out of the hotel yesterday afternoon.
Part of the street was also cordoned off by the police.
