A woman was taken to hospital in fair condition after inhaling smoke during an apartment fire Sunday night in Douglas on the South Side.
Around 10:15 p.m., police and fire officials responded to the fire in the 600 block of East Woodland Park Avenue, Chicago police said.
A woman suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she was in fair condition, police said.
Three people were displaced and no additional injuries were reported, officials said.
