The woman killed in a Friday morning house fire east of Longmont has been identified by the Weld County coroner.
Maria Borrego-Mojica, 46, died in the fire on Colorado 119 near Weld County Road 7, according to a Wednesday release from the coroner’s office.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the fire, and the coroner is still determining Borrego-Mojica’s cause of death, according to the release.
Mountain View Fire Rescue officials said six people were inside the home when the fire erupted around 3:30 a.m. Friday, one of whom was taken to a hospital to be treated for burns.
Crews found Borrego-Mojica’s body when searching the house after the fire, fire officials said.
