Andrew Tate issues statement after ‘hilariously bad’ boxing debut

Andrew Tate’s boxing debut was branded ‘hilariously bad’ after he was beaten on points by Chase DeMoor.
Tate, a former professional kickboxer, was expected to have the skills to beat reality TV star and crossover boxer DeMoor.
But DeMoor, who has held the Misfits heavyweight title since November 2024, clinched the victory via majority decision after the right went to the judges’ scorecards.
The fight was low in quality and Michael Bisping, a former UFC world champion, described it as ‘hilariously bad’.
Tate, meanwhile, admitted DeMoor won the fight ‘fair and square’ as he addressed his disappointing defeat on social media.
‘99.9% of 40-year-old men with 700 million dollars sit around with w*****,’ he posted. ‘I could have done the same and talked shit on the internet and took no risks and just lived easy.
‘In my heart I knew I’m too old. I knew I’d been out too long. That’s why I had to do it. To face fear. I can’t live scared. I have to know I faced it.

‘I lost fair and square. Chase is a true champion. A warrior – I’m proud of him. He deserves that belt.’
In a separate post, Tate said: ‘Most men have never felt the sting of defeat because most men have never even tried.’
Tate’s brother Tristan added: ‘My brother is twice the man he was 10 years ago. But he’s not the same fighter.
‘He conquered kickboxing as a younger man, he’s never been afraid to test himself, never afraid to take on new challenges and I love and respect him for it.
