Ant and Dec appear to be lining up a future I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here campmate in the form of England and Manchester City star Jack Grealish.
Grealish’s down-to-earth demeanour and status as an England star has made him one of the most popular footballers in the Premier League.
Having started his career at boyhood club Aston Villa, Grealish has lifted three successive Premier League trophies since joining Man City and even got his hands on the coveted Champions League.
Grealish has also become a regular for England – playing 39 games since making his international debut in 2020 – although he was left out of Euro 2024 by former Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate.
Given Grealish’s appeal across the UK, he has long been tipped to become a mainstream celebrity later in life and star in shows like I’m A Celeb.
The 2024 series of the ITV show is well underway, with the likes of McFly star Danny Jones, ex-Love Island contestant Maura Higgins and Wayne Rooney’s wife Colleen entertaining fans from Down Under.
Many viewers of the show have named Grealish as an ideal future campmate and presenter Declan Donnelly, speaking on TikTok, revealed the Premier League superstar had been asked whether he would be up for a stint in the jungle.

And Grealish publicly responded to the inquiry, much to the surprise of Ant McPartlin, who said: ‘Oh my god.’
‘I’ve heard a few of you guys want to see me in the jungle,’ Grealish said. ‘I can’t lie it’s something I would absolutely love to do.
‘It’s a show that I’ve watched for years since I was little. I don’t know how I’d get on in there, I don’t think I’d be the best to be honest, but I’d give it a go.

‘Not this year, I don’t think [Man City manager] Pep [Guardiola] would be too happy. But, never say never, it could happen one day.’
Ant and Dec responded to Grealish’s admission by chanting the footballer’s name.
There are no former footballers on this year’s I’m A Celeb but the likes of Ian Wright, Neil Ruddock, Dennis Wise and Wayne Bridge have previously appeared on the show.
England Lionesses hero Jill Scott won I’m A Celeb in 2022 while former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp was crowned King of the Jungle in 2018.
