Arch Manning’s NIL deal with the Texas Longhorns has not been made public, but the projections indicate the star quarterback is making a lot of money despite his lack of college football experience. On3 projects Manning not only has the highest NIL value of any college football player, but the Texas quarterback’s financial projections are the most of any student-athlete across sports.
On3 projects Manning’s NIL value to be a massive $6.8 million heading into the 2025 college football season. For context, Miami quarterback Carson Beck, who landed a sizable NIL deal after transferring from Georgia this offseason, is a distant second in the projections at $4.3 million.
The Manning family took a unique approach to the star’s NIL deals and media coverage. Manning avoided doing NIL deals and interviews while Quinn Ewers was the Texas QB1.
With Ewers moving on to the NFL, business has been booming for Manning as the Texas quarterback announced several major NIL deals throughout the college football offseason.
Here’s what you need to know about Manning’s growing NIL deals.
Texas QB Arch Manning’s NIL Deals Include Warby Parker, Vuori, EA Sports & Red Bull Among Others
Manning announced a new deal with eyewear company Warby Parker just days before Texas’ season opener at Ohio State. The quarterback’s NIL deals include Vuori, Raising Cane’s, Red Bull and EA Sports among other endorsements.
Manning explained why he avoiding some of the financial opportunities that were available prior to being named the Texas starting quarterback.
“I didn’t want to be the guy rolling in with all this money when we have guys like Jake Majors who have 40 starts and not making any, and I’m taking all the money,” Manning explained to ESPN in January, per Sports Illustrated. “I wanted to earn my money, work hard, get to know the players, kind of earn my way up.”
Arch Manning Has Been Able to Build on the Manning Family Brand
The Texas quarterback may not have much in the way of college football experience, but the signal-caller’s last name admittedly helps his marketability. Manning played sparingly during his first two seasons in Austin.
With Ewers as the team’s QB1, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian had select packages for Manning primarily aimed at utilizing the star’s dual-threat abilities. Manning also filled in for Ewers when the now Dolphins quarterback sustained a torn oblique muscle during the 2024 season which briefly sidelined the veteran.
Arch Manning’s Dad Cooper Manning Urged Texas QB Not to Make a Decision on His Future Based on NIL Money
In an era when most highly touted quarterbacks transfer if they are not named the starter, Manning opted to sit behind Ewers for two seasons. It is worth noting there is not a right or wrong path when it comes to a college football player’s decision, but Manning has operated a bit differently than most in the NIL era.
Manning’s dad Cooper Manning indicated the family did not want the quarterback making a decision on his future based on NIL money. The obvious counter point is that the Manning family is not hurting for money, and the Texas quarterback did not face some of the financial realities that his peers faced when entering the transfer portal.
“I think the best advice I can give is to look at the school, where you’re going to go, and where you’re going to be happy,” Manning’s father noted, per Sports Illustrated. “If money is dictating where you’re going for the next four years, you’re probably going to make a mistake.”
