Arsenal and Chelsea have been told signing a £64m star would ‘almost guarantee’ them the Premier League title.
The London rivals are both in the market for a new striker this summer after disappointing seasons in front of goal.
No Arsenal player reached double digits in the Premier League, while Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku both endured underwhelming campaigns for the Blues.
Arsenal and Chelsea have been heavily linked with moves for Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres and Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap.
But perhaps they should be focusing their attentions on Victor Osimhen, who would ‘almost guarantee’ both clubs the Premier League trophy, according to Nigeria assistant manager Daniel Ogunmodede.

Osimhen was close to joining Chelsea last summer but ended up joining Galatasaray on loan after the a deadline-day move to Stamford Bridge broke down.
The 26-year-old has been one of the most prolific goalscorers in Europe this season, netting 36 goals in 40 appearances to help Galatasaray win the Turkish league title.

Before leaving Napoli, Osimhen scored 76 goals in 133 games for the Italian club, starring in their Serie A title win in 2022-23.
‘In my opinion, Victor Osimhen is currently the best number nine in the world,’ Nigeria coach Ogunmodede told SportsBoom.
‘There are many top strikers in Europe, but no one brings what Victor does to the pitch.
‘Any team that signs him is almost guaranteed to win the league title. He’s that influential.

‘I’m excited about Victor Osimhen’s achievements in Turkey. Considering what happened [in the transfer market] last summer, making that move was a bold decision, but he’s handled it brilliantly.
‘Osimhen deserves all the success he’s getting. He’s hardworking, disciplined, and fully committed.’
While Osimhen has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, he is said to be closing in on a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
John Obi Mikel has repeatedly urged his former club Chelsea to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge, while Wayne Rooney wants Manchester United to secure his signature.
Like Arsenal and Chelsea, United are also expected to sign a new striker this summer to replace Rasmus Hojlund, who endured a poor campaign at Old Trafford.
‘I would sign Victor Osimhen as the No. 9,’ Rooney told Amazon Prime. ‘I think he’s a good striker and would possibly be available this summer.’
