Ben White hopes to return to the England fold under Thomas Tuchel, confirming that he is available for international selection.
The 27-year-old has four caps for his country but has not featured for the Three Lions since March 2022.
The Arsenal defender left England’s World Cup camp in 2022 after the group stage to return home for ‘personal reasons’ and has not played since.
Former England boss Gareth Southgate revealed that White had made himself unavailable for selection, but that situation has changed now a new man is in charge.
Tuchel is now at the helm for the Three Lions and White has confirmed that he is open to playing for his country again.

‘I’m definitely available,’ said White, who missed a significant amount of this season with a serious knee injury.
On his relationship with Tuchel, he added: ‘I spoke to him a few times. He’s such a nice, nice man — very honest. I haven’t been back for too long.

‘So it’s just about playing now and hopefully making my way back in.’
Tuchel didn’t pick White in his first England squad as the defender was still recovering full fitness, but the German made it clear then that he expects the Gunners man to return.
‘He loves to be back in the squad,’ Tuchel said of White in March. ‘It’s a bit too early given the seriousness of the injury he had. I’m delighted he’s back.
‘We’ve been monitoring his training — huge compliments to the medical and performance department of the FA and thanks to everyone at Arsenal.
‘We are on it and we are speaking to Ben. It’s now a question about getting more minutes and rhythm. He has every chance to be back.’

White may be back in the Three Lions squad next month, when England take on Andorra in a World Cup qualifier, followed by Senegal in a friendly.
Tuchel won his first two games in charge, beating Albania and Latvia in forgettable qualifiers in March.
After the pair of games in June, England are not back in action until back-to-back qualifiers in September against Andorra and Serbia.
