Awkward moment Frank Lampard corrects ‘all over the place’ Conor Coady live on TV during Euro 2024 coverage

FRANK LAMPARD shared an awkward moment with Conor Coady live on air during coverage of Euro 2024.

The pair worked together at Everton where Lampard was manager from 2022 to 2023.

Frank Lampard and Conor Coady shared an awkward but funny moment

They were reunited on the BBC‘s coverage of the Euros where presenter Mark Chapman pointed out some interesting behaviour from Coady.

Chapman noted Coady was still calling Lampard “gaffer” on occasion, sparing an award moment.

The defender responded saying: “I’m all over the place I don’t know what to call him.”

That sparked laughter from Chapman and Lampard as well as fellow pundit Joe Hart.

Lampard quickly eased his worries as he chuckled saying: “Frank is fine.”

Hart then joked by suggesting Coady call him “Super Frank”, which the former Chelsea and England midfielder was more than happy with.

It is not the first awkward moment Lampard has experienced at the Euros having been on the receiving end of a joke made by Gary Lineker.

Lineker out there was a fan screen in the background of the BBC’s outdoor studio, which blocked fans from being able to look in.

Lampard joked if the screen was removed, they’d only be able to see the back of his head anyway.

That provoked the quip from Lineker, with the host saying: “No you’re right, nobody wants to see the back of your head these days! That’s for sure.”
