Barcelona are still keen to explore a move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford even if they complete a deal for Nico Williams.
Hansi Flick’s side are expected to beat Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Arsenal to Williams’ signature after the Spain international indicated his desire to leave Athletic Club this summer.
The 22-year-old has already reached a verbal agreement with the Catalan giants, who are set to activate his €60million (£50m) release clause in the coming weeks.
Despite that impending deal, Barcelona are reportedly still keen on a move for Rashford, with Flick believing that the Englishman’s versatility could benefit his squad.
Rashford is expected to leave United this summer having spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa after he was frozen out by Ruben Amorim.

Villa had the option to sign Rashford for £40 million, but the forward has long made it clear that he is holding out for a Champions League club, and his preference is to join Barcelona.
Speaking last weekend, Rashford publically admitted that he would relish a move to the Nou Camp to link up with teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.

Asked about playing alongside Yamal, Rashford told YouTuber Javi Ruiz: ‘Yeah, sure. Everybody in the world wants to play with the best. So hopefully, we’ll see.’
Despite Rashford’s desire to make the move and Barcelona’s public interest in the forward, there would still be hurdles to overcome regarding a potential move.

Perhaps most importantly, United are keen to secure a permanent exit for Rashford this summer, while Barcelona are only said to be seeking a loan deal.
In addition, Barcelona may demand that United cover a portion of Rashford’s wages, which stand at more than £300,000 a week.
Rashford is one of several players whom United are keen to part ways with this summer as they look to raise funds for their latest rebuild.
Like Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho has fallen out with Amorim and look set to depart, while Jadon Sancho and Antony are also expected to leave after returning from their respective loans.
Rasmus Hojlund could also depart Old Trafford, too, with Napoli interested in a deal for the misfiring striker.
