Bayern Munich plot transfer raid on Everton for Amadou Onana – but Toffees set huge price tag on Belgian midfielder

BAYERN MUNICH are keen on Everton’s Amadou Onana — but the Toffees want £50million.

New boss Vincent Kompany would like to take his compatriot to the Allianz Arena as he looks to put his stamp on the squad.

Everton are open to selling Belgian midfielder Onana, 22, as they need to raise cash to ensure they meet the Prem’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.

But they are not willing to sell him on the cheap and want a significant profit on the man they bought from Lille for £30m two years ago.

Toffees boss Sean Dyche did not pick Onana in the final few games of last season as his team pulled off another great escape — so will look to cash in on him rather than Manchester United target Jarrad Branthwaite.

Helping to plug any gap left in midfield by Onana’s exit will be Iliman Ndiaye — who is poised to become Dyche’s third signing of the summer.

The attacking midfielder, 24, will cost £15.3m from Marseille and has already agreed personal terms.

He joins £9m man Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa as well as winger Jack Harrison — who will spend a second season on loan from Leeds.

Ashley Young joined fellow veteran Seamus Coleman, 35, in signing a new 12–month deal at Goodison Park.

On the dressing room spirit, former United full-back Young, 38, said: “I’d put it up there with the best dressing rooms I’ve been in, with the best team spirit. There’s a bond.
