Bears Playoff Schedule: Next Opponent, Date & Game

The Chicago Bears have officially taken down the Green Bay Packers in their wild-card showdown on Saturday, January 10, with a riveting 31-27 victory at home. It’s an incredible feeling to see a team that closed out last season at the bottom of the NFC North now be just two games away from making it to the final dance.

“I think I’m built for these moments mentality wise how I’ve worked,” Williams told reporters ahead of the Packers game. “I’ve been in a bunch of big games before and a bunch of big rival games. In those moments and in these moments, I think I can provide a spark for the team. I think I can do whatever my team needs me to do.”

Williams added, “Whether that’s stay in the pocket, whether that’s run, whether that’s scramble, whether that’s hand the ball off 30 times and be energetic about it. Whatever it takes is where I’m at and where I’m going to be at for these next couple weeks hopefully.”

So, who will the Chicago Bears play next in the NFL playoffs, and when will the game take place? Here’s the most updated information.

Chicago Bears’ Next Opponent Is Down to a Few

We know the weekend of the Bears’ next game, but we’ll have to wait until Sunday evening, January 11, for additional details about the opponent. Still, let’s get into the basic information.

The Bears will know their opponent for the divisional round on Sunday evening, January 11, following the 49ers and Eagles game. If the Eagles win, they’ll go up against the Bears. If the 49ers win, they’ll take on the Seahawks, and the Bears will go up against the winner of the Panthers and Rams game, so the Rams. It’s complicated, right? But, it’s all about math at this point in the NFL season.

So, the Eagles and the Rams are the only teams in the playoffs that the Bears could play in the divisional round. Of these teams, the Bears have played, and beaten, the Eagles, but they haven’t played the Rams.

Now, we do know more about the date of the game. The divisional round begins on January 17, with two games: one at 4:30 p.m. and the other at 8:15 p.m. The round will continue on January 18, with games at 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. So, next weekend will mark the Bears’ next game.

Then, the AFC Championship will take place on January 25 at 3 p.m., and the NFC Championship will happen at 6:30 p.m. The Super Bowl is scheduled for February 8 at 6:30 p.m. on NBC.

Chicago Bears Quarterback Caleb Williams Was Calm Before Packers Game

Williams had a calm and cool approach to heading into the wild-card game against the Packers.

Before the game, Williams said, “It’s another game. Then from there you go out there and make plays for your team. You understand that you don’t have another game. But in my mindset, I go into it, it’s another game and go out there and go win a game.”

Now, Williams and the Chicago Bears will have another game to concur on the road to the championship.
