Belgium stars suffer wardrobe malfunction with ‘ugly’ kit compared to Premier League shirt that was axed mid-season

FOOTBALL fans mocked Belgium’s Euro 2024 kit during their defeat to Slovakia as their shirts were left covered in sweat.

Domenico Tedesco’s side were on the wrong end of the first major shock of the tournament as they suffered a 1-0 defeat in Frankfurt on Monday evening.

The kit situation added to a dismal 90 minutes for Domenico Tedesco’s sideGetty

That was despite lining up with a star-studded forward line that included Romelu Lukaku, Kevin de Bruyne, Leandro Trossard and Jeremy Doku.

And their all-star cast were left looking even more of a mess due to the state of their Adidas jerseys.

Sweat seemed to be seeping through the shirts causing them to stick to the stomachs of the players.

A similar accusation was made about Aston Villa’s strip earlier this season, before they changed it.

And one fan compared the two kits, saying: “These Belgium shirts look wetter than those Castore shirts #avfc.”

While another added: “That Belgium shirt is f***ing ugly.”

A third responded: “Adidas making very sweaty looking shirts for Belgium .”

While a fourth replied: “Belgium shirts bit wet look plus they have to be one of the most overrated teams loads of talent but always s*** in a tournament #avfc.”
