The Buffalo Bills kicked off training camp at St. John Fisher University last week.
Fans will get a closer look at Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Co. this offseason, as their training camp is being featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” The docuseries will premiere on August 5. Allen wasn’t too happy over the team’s selection for the show, as added cameras can be a distraction.
However, he now sees the situation as half-full. “I do think it’s a cool opportunity for people to see some of the great men we have on our team and some of the great women we have in our staff as a whole.” Part of that staff includes area scout Brian Fisher, a longtime member of the Bills’ front office.
Fisher first joined the Bills organization in 2007 as a college scout. A decade later, he was promoted to Midwest college scout. On Thursday, July 30, the team announced heartbreaking news that his wife, Nicole Fisher, died.
The team’s official X account posted, “We are saddened to learn that Nicole Fisher, wife of Bills Area Scout Brian Fisher, has passed away. Sending all our love and deepest condolences to the Fisher family and friends. ❤️💙.” She was 49 years old.

Funeral services were held at Woodside Bible Church on Wednesday in Troy, Michigan. The obituary includes a link for donations towards The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
