The Buffalo Bills need some help one last time at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.
In what is set to be the final game at historic Highmark Stadium, what’s more fitting than multiple feet of snow filling the stands?
It is reported that the stadium saw 13.8 inches of snow overnight, with current estimations predicting that another foot could be on the way before Sunday afternoon’s game against the New York Jets.
This is why the Bills are seeking the help of thier loyal Bills Mafia.
The organization is looking for help from anyone over 18 years old on Saturday, January 3rd.
The Bills are paying $20 an hour and offering hot food and beverages to all volunteers.
They are reminding fans to dress appropriately, but have paired with a sponsor to sweeten the pot for Bills Mafia.
“To celebrate the fans making the Final Regular Season game at Highmark Stadium possible, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield will be providing the first 500 shovelers with Highmark Stadium branded winter gloves,” a statement released by the team reads.
Bud Light has also stepped in to join the merch train, offering custom hats to the shovelers on site.
“Bud Light and the Bills will be giving away winter hats to select 21+ shovelers ahead of the ‘Blizzard Brew’ limited-edition beer made with purified snow being available during Sunday’s game at Highmark Stadium,” the statement reads. “Fans may bring their own shovels, but shovels will be provided by the Bills, ABM, and Bud Light.”
