Training camps have started all over the NFL over the last week, and for the Buffalo Bills, it’s now time for the team to start gearing up for a Super Bowl run.
Out of all 32 NFL teams that started practice the last few weeks, only about seven of them can say they have a chance to win the Super Bowl.
Luckily, the Bills are one of those seven teams that can say they have a shot at the Super Bowl, and much of their success in winning it all happens during training camp.
Training camp is the time to know how a team is going to be by the way they practice and prepare, and it also could be who’s healthy and who’s not.
Every training camp, players who are supposed to make an impact on a team get injured. Buffalo has had few injury problems during the first six days of camp, but on Tuesday, the most significant injury happened to the team.
Bills Maxwell Hairston Left Practice With Injury
According to Dan Fetes from 13WHAM in Buffalo, “Bills first-round pick Maxwell Hairston left practice with the team’s head athletic trainer after looking at his right knee.”
Here’s a look at Max Hairston being attended to during practice today.

Hairston, a corner from Kentucky, was Buffalo’s first-round pick back in April.
Hairston was highly thought of coming out of college, and NFL’s Lance Zierlein wrote before the draft. “Slender outside cornerback with long arms and impressive ball production. Hairston is capable of playing all forms of zone and man coverage. He anticipates well with his eyes forward and has the burst to take the ball away, posting six interceptions (three returned for TDs) over his last 20 games. Maxwell stays connected in man coverage with good agility and fluidity, but needs to do a better job of locating the football downfield. He will struggle to contest big wideouts, and his run support will turn off some teams. Hairston has the athleticism and on-ball talent to become a starter, but he needs to prove he can hold up to the rigors and physicality of the NFL game.”
Hairston Could Make An Impact In The Playoffs
Hopefully, Hairston’s injury isn’t serious since losing him will be a major blow to the team, which needs him to get to the Super Bowl.
Even though Hairston is only a rookie, he could play a huge role on the Bills in the playoffs, just like Philadelphia Eagles rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean did last year.
DeJean had a pick-6 in the Eagles’ Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs, and Hairston could make an impact just like DeJean did this upcoming winter.
