ANDY Farrell will head down under with the British and Irish Lions as they tour Australia in the summer of 2025.
He will be flanked by the legend of rugby union, Johnny Sexton, as the former Irish fly-half steps in as assistant coach for the tour.

Farrell may have to cope without his Irish talisman, and one of the favourites to captain the tour, Caelan Doris, as the number eight picked up an injury against Northampton Saints last weekend.
On the opposite side for the Saints last weekend, 20-year-old Henry Pollock has staked a good claim to be selected by Farrell, scoring a try against Leinster to add to a superb breakthrough season this year.
Leinster fly-half Sam Prendergast is also been rumoured to be among those in contention, giving Farrell a choice between him, Fin Smith, Marcus Smith and son Owen Farrell to go alongside Finn Russell.
