Bruce Buffer and Dustin Poirier Join Forces in New Bud Light Campaign

Bruce Buffer and Dustin Poirier recently appeared in a new Bud Light commercial. The UFC’s official beer sponsor’s continues to use creative campaigns to unite fans. Their latest project highlights humor, energy, and the love of fight nights.

Bud Light’s ‘Call Center‘ commercial showcases both Buffer’s voice and Poirier’s humorous side. It begins with a fan asking friends about getting time off work to watch UFC. Suddenly, Buffer appears wearing a headset, answering calls with his trademark catchphrase: ‘It’s time!’

Poirier joins in with his own flair. He puts his fighting skills to good use, dropping an elbow on a three-hole puncher and delivers kicks to a printer at the end.

The ‘Call Center’ spot is part of Bud Light’s Fight Night PTO: Paid Time at the Octagon campaign. Fans aged 21 and older can win cash and UFC 322 tickets. The event takes place at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 15.

UFC 322 features Jack Della Maddalena defends his welterweight title against former lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in the main event.

Todd Allen, Bud Light’s senior vice president of marketing, expressed excitement for getting to work with Buffer and Poirier.

“Nobody has embodied that better throughout their careers than Bruce and Dustin, making them the perfect fit to not only appear in our new commercial, but also lead the way in helping ensure fans of Bud Light and UFC are able to enjoy UFC 322 live, courtesy of our Fight Night PTO,” Allen said in a press release.

 


Dustin Poirier Expresses Excitement on Giving Back to Fans with Bud Light

Since retiring, Poirier has has explored new ventures outside the octagon. He works as an analyst for UFC events, and has joined Buffer on Bud Light campaigns.

For Poirier, his partnership with Bud Light gives him another platform to give back to UFC fans who supported him. He expressed excitement about joining the ‘Call Center’ campaign and enjoyed the process.

“Bud Light has always been in my corner and, now that I’m retired, it’s exciting to join the brand in making fight nights even more epic for fans and their crew,” Poirier said in a press release. “I never thought my next job would be at a call center, but it’s sure fun celebrating and giving back to the UFC fans who supported me throughout my career.”

 


Bruce Buffer Excited About Working with Poirier for Bud Light Campaigns

For Bruce Buffer, the campaign offers a new way to connect with fans. It marks his first campaign with Bud Light since officially announcing his partnership with the brand at UFC 320.

Buffer reflected on showcasing his personality outside the octagon. He said it was an enjoyable experience, especially working with Poirier in this capacity.

Buffer said his goal is to help more fans experience a UFC event live from the best seats in the arena.

“I’ve always been known for my voice, so getting to use that outside the octagon was a tone of fun,” Buffer said in a press release. “After announcing my partnership with Bud Light earlier this month, it’s been a thrill to team with Dustin on this campaign and create something that helps fans enjoy the UFC from octagon-side.”
