Chelsea came from behind to defeat Real Betis in the Conference League final and secure their first trophy under Enzo Maresca on Wednesday.
Betis enjoyed a dream start as as Abde Ezzalzouli drilled hard and low into the net on nine minutes after clever play by Isco, with the former Real Madrid star picking out his teammate on the edge of the box to finish.
Chelsea were poor in the first half but massively improved after the break with Enzo Fernandez levelling things up for the English side in Wroclaw.
Nicolas Jackson made it 2-1 with 70 minutes on the clock with Cole Palmer providing the assists for both of Chelsea’s first two goals.
Jadon Sancho added a third and Moises Caicedo made it 4-1 late-on as the Blues produced a brilliant comeback to beat the La Liga side in Poland.
