Chelsea fans have branded club legend John Terry ‘cringe’ and ’embarrassing’ after his antics at the Baller League on Monday.
Terry is one of the biggest legends in Chelsea history, winning 15 major trophies during his 22-year spell at Stamford Bridge from 1995 to 2017.
He made 717 appearances for the Blues, helping the west London side clinch five Premier League titles, five FA Cups and the Champions League.
Terry launched a coaching career after hanging up in boots – but has also been involved in the Baller League UK – an indoor six-a-side football competition mixing ex-professional players and content creators.
The iconic centre-back is the manager of the Baller League’s ’26ers’ team and was seen performing a song with British rapper ArrDee on Monday.

The rap, a diss track about influencer Angryginge, went viral on social media and some Chelsea supporters have been left covering their eyes.
‘JT has consistently come out with some super embarrassing s*** over the years,’ one Chelsea fan, @BananusHippledick, posted on Reddit.
‘And this is one of [my] childhood heroes we’re talking about here, just wish he’d keep his head down and stick to football.’
‘I love JT to bits but he never fails to make me cringe, especially in his retirement,’ @v_for__vegeta opined.
‘He’s the only one from that generation of [Chelsea] legends that is a bit of an embarrassment,’ @OldManFuture wrote.
The rap was labelled ‘super cringe’ by @AdNeat2965 while another Chelsea supporter, @Human_Yesterday6384 said: ‘Don’t go this way JT.
‘[The] Baller League is such a stupid thing for young kids and adults who can’t handle 90 minutes of football.’
‘And to think, he recently spoke about not understanding why he’s been passed up for managerial roles,’ @livion__ added.
Terry recently revealed he is dreaming of becoming Chelsea head coach but fears he’ll never be given the opportunity to manage his old club.
‘I’m not sure it ever happens, to be honest,’ Terry said in a video posted on his TikTok account. ‘It’s my one last dream I have at the football club. I’ve done everything at Chelsea.
‘And for me now, the one thing that is missing is being the manager of the football club. That’s why I went into coaching when I finished playing. My idea and dream was to learn my trade a bit.
‘As a player, you retire after 22 years… Listen, 100 per cent, you learn enough to go into management. The level I played at and the managers I played under.
‘But it doesn’t give you the right you go into management at a certain level. You still have to learn and understand what it takes.
‘There’s a lot more that goes into the coaching side of it. So I went away and learnt my trade, I had some unbelievable times at Villa, I left Villa to be a number one, I thought I was ready.
‘I think I’d be a really good number one, I enjoyed the coaching side of it. I want people around me that are better coaches than me. Then I could lead the dressing room and the team like I did [as a player].
‘That’s what I did for 22 years at the club. I know I’d be good at it. Will I ever get the chance? I’m not sure, without doing the other bits. But when people tell you you’ve not got the experience, it’s difficult to fathom.’
