The Los Angeles Clippers decided to sign Bradley Beal in the offseason after he was bought about by the Suns. He had $110 million left on his contract when the Suns made the decision to part ways with him.
Beal signed a two-year deal with the Clippers to help them win a championship. He came in expecting to either start or be a key player off the bench. Unfortunately for Beal, he has been putting up some of the worst stats of his career up to this point.
Beal was injured and missed a game against the Hawks. Now, the full extent of his injury has been revealed, and he will miss the rest of the season.

Clippers Guard Bradley Beal Has a Fractured Hip
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Bradley has suffered a fractured hip that will require season-ending surgery. Beal’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, sent out a statement about Beal’s injury.
“We met with numerous doctors and specialists around the country in collaboration with the entire Clippers medical staff over the last few days, and came to the decision unanimously that the surgery will allow Brad to have a full and complete recovery.”
With Beal out of the picture, the Clippers are now down even more players. They have been without Kawhi Leonard for the last four games with an ankle sprain. Now, the Clippers are going to have an even tougher time manufacturing offense.

The Clippers Need Offensive Help
So far, the Clippers have a bottom-ten offense in the NBA in terms of offensive rating. The Clippers sit 12th in the Western Conference standings with no indication of when Leonard will return. James Harden has been the focal point of the offense in Leonard’s absence.
Beal’s future with the Clippers will now likely consist of just one season. He has one more year left on his deal, and he will be 33 next year when he returns to basketball. His stats fell off a cliff this year, averaging single-digit points for the first time in his career.
Los Angeles took a gamble on bringing Beal in, and it doesn’t look like it has worked out. He will have one more shot to prove he can stay healthy. Beal hasn’t played more than 60 games since the 2018-19 season.
