Chelsea and Manchester City are on the same side of the draw for the Club World Cup round of 16 as the route to the final has now been revealed.
City sealed an impressive 5-2 win over Juventus on Thursday to finish top of Group G and are the only team in the competition who won all three of their group matches.
Pep Guardiola’s side will play Al-Hilal in the round of 16 on June 30 after the Saudi Pro League side finished runners-up to Real Madrid in Group H.
Chelsea, meanwhile, finished behind Flamengo in Group D and they will play Benfica in their round-of-16 tie on June 28.
City will face either Inter or Fluminense in the quarter-final, while Chelsea will meet either Palmeiras or Botafogo. However, the two Premier League sides will play each over in the semi-final if they win their games in the knockout stage.
