Quarterback Daniel Jones has been leading the Indianapolis Colts to a 5-1 season by proving to be one of the better QBs in the first half of the season.
Jones’ main receiving option this season hasn’t been one of the veterans receiving threats, but a rookie from the 2025 NFL Draft.
14th overall pick Tyler Warren has been Jones’ main target through six weeks this season. The rookie leads the team with 40 targets and 370 receiving yards. Warren has two receiving touchdowns and one rushing touchdown for Indianapolis so far this season.
Warren has the third-most receiving yards by a rookie receiving option through six weeks so far.
One NFL writer has a bold prediction for Warren after his impressive performances this season.
Tyler Warren Predicted To Make All-Rookie Team

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen and offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter have been using Tyler Warren all around the offense. Running, catching, as a quarterback for one snap, he has done it all for the organization.
“It’s a very nice luxury to have because he’s so talented and has so many different skill sets,” coach Shane Steichen said, via ABC.
Pro Football Sports Network’s Sterling Xie predicts the versatile tight end will make the 2025-26 All-Rookie team this season.
“Another week, another elite outing from the best rookie tight end in the league. Tyler Warren ranked fifth among all players in TE Impact Grade in Week 6, and boasts an 86.2 season-long grade that ranks second behind Tucker Kraft,” Xie wrote.
“Warren’s calling card has been yards after the catch, which was no different against the Cardinals — the No. 14-overall pick generated 10.7 YAC over expected, sixth-best among tight ends this week. For the season, his 58.2 YAC over expected was his second behind Kraft.”
Pro Football Focus is currently giving the rookie a 73.9 overall grade through the first six weeks, ranking him 9th out of 36th-qualifying tight ends.
The former Nittany Lion currently leads all tight ends in receiving yards.
Back-to-Back Players Named To All-Rookie Team

If Tyler Warren continues to have a strong season with Indianapolis, the Colts would have a player on the All-Rookie team in back-to-back years.
EDGE rusher Laiatu Latu, who was a first-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, was a member of the 2024-25 All-Rookie team.
The EDGE rusher had 4 sacks, 32 tackles and three force fumbles in his rookie year. Latu finished 12th in the Defensive Rookie of the Year voting after his solid season.
If Warren continues to be Daniel Jones’ first read, the tight end will most likely make the All-Rookie team. Not only that, but in a pretty light offensive rookie class, the 14th overall pick can throw his name in the Offensive Rookie of the Year award conversation.
