Colts First Round Pick Predicted To Make All-Rookie Team

We have reached the quarter mark of the 2025 NFL season, with the Indianapolis Colts currently boasting a 3-1 record, thanks to strong performances from their offense.

The offense is currently producing 397.3 yards per game, the third-highest in the league, and averaging the fourth-highest points per game at 30.8 points.

Running back Jonathan Taylor currently leads the league with 414 rushing yards and $14 million signing quarterback Daniel Jones has the third most passing yards in the league.

Indy currently has six players who have more than 100+ receiving yards after four games, led by their first selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Athletic has released its early predictions for the 2025 All-Rookie team, featuring the Indianapolis Colts‘ first-round selection.

The Indianapolis Colts selected tight end Tyler Warren with the 14th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and is looking exactly how he was promoted to be.

Warren has the most receiving yards in the Colts receiving group with 263 yards, 29 more yards than the next player on the team.

The Athletic released their early All-Rookie team, with Warren being picked for the tight end spot.

Warren arrived in the NFL as a no-assembly-required product ready to hit the ground running. And he hasn’t disappointed,” Dane Brugler wrote.”With 263 yards receiving, Warren ranks No. 1 among all NFL tight ends, not just the rookies. He also ranks No. 2 in first downs (13, one behind Trey McBride) and No. 2 in yards after catch (147, 10 behind Tucker Kraft). Warren doesn’t have a touchdown catch yet, but he found the end zone Sunday with a goal-line carry.”

“Not only has Warren been impactful as a pass catcher, but his blocking (sometimes as a fullback) has been a net positive for the Colts’ offense. We talked all offseason about the potential impact of Indianapolis adding a weapon at tight end, and Warren has brought those ideas to fruition.”

Warren has logged 70+ yards in three of his first four games as a professional.

Warren On Getting His First Touchdown

It took four games for the rookie tight end to get his first NFL touchdown, but not the way he thought.

Despite being a receiving threat for the Indianapolis Colts, Tyler Warren’s first touchdown came on a rushing play instead. The first round pick was behind center and rushed three yards for the score against a strong Los Angeles Rams D-line in Week 4.

It was good,” Warren said of his first TD, via the Colts website. “Actually, I think Daniel jumped in the pile and started pushing, and Mo [Alie-Cox] and [Drew Ogletree] were right there pushing the pile in. So it was fun.”

“Still got a lot of stuff to do in the season. It was fun, but still got work to do.”
