There are currently no completely healthy quarterback in the Colts current 53-man roster as Anthony Richardson, who was the initial backup QB to Jones, is on injured reserve after he suffered an orbital fracture in a pregame accident.

Richardson has been on IR since mid October and could have his 21-day practice activation period, but the healing time for the quarterback is still a way to go before being able to take a hit in pads.

With Riley Leonard’s status still in the air for Week 15, the Colts may have to use the quarterback on the practice squad.

Brett Rypein is the lone quarterback in the Colts roster, 53-man or practice squad, to be healthy entering the new week. Rypein was signed to the practiced squad after Richardson was suffered his orbital bone fracture and may make his first start of the season.

The practice squad quarterback has made 4 starts throughout his career, giving a positive glimpse for Indianapolis heading into the matchup against the Seahawks.

The quarterback position isn’t the only area on the Indianapolis Colts roster that is dealing with multiple injuries.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward has been placed on the concussion protocol for the third time this season. According to Steichen, Ward reported to the Colts training facility reporting concussion symptoms. The $54 million cornerback played 61 out of 64 total defensive snaps in the loss to Jacksonville.

Indy was already without Sauce Gardner in Week 14 and may now be without their two top corners in Seattle.

Ward had just been activated from injured reserve on November 22 and placed three games before suffering his third concussion of the season. In total, the cornerback has only played for the Indianapolis Colts 7 games so far during his three-year deal with the team.

The injuries are piling up for the Colts and may ruin the teams chances to return to the playoffs and win the AFC South.
