Conor McGregor seems to never manage to keep himself out of the news for long, especially not in the era of the internet.
McGregor is currently serving an 18-month suspension for anti-doping missed tests, which will allow him to fight by the end of March, 2026.
After declaring his intent to fight on the UFC White House card next June, it seems like the current Bare Knuckle FC co-owner and promoter – speaking at one of the events on Thursday, has undergone a big personal change recently.
Conor McGregor Has ‘Healed’ On ‘Spiritual Journey’
Having long been – if actions would seem to speak anything close to volumes – a man somewhat far away from the almighty, McGregor said that he had undergone a spiritual shift and is now “healed”.
“I am not here by chance, there is a higher power – God – that dictates my journey and all of our journeys.” McGregor said. “And I live my life by Godâs word… Iâve engaged on a spiritual journey, and Iâm saved, I am healed.”
Through this, McGregor claims, has come his renewed passion and “competitive spark” for fighting.
“On the back of that, the world is in for a treat. My competitive spark that was once in my heart is now a roaring blaze. So I’m very excited – I envy these men up here. They are right about to make weight…and do what they were called to do. As am I called to do it. I am eager to get back and right now I had to dial myself in and go inward – and that I’ve done. Iâm very excited to come back my own self.â
