During the final seconds of the first half, Jokic appeared to have his foot stepped on by Nuggets forward Spencer Jones.
Jokic immediately went down to the court and grabbed his knee. He remained on the ground for several moments before eventually walking gingerly off the court.
The Nuggets have listed Jokic as questionable to return with a left knee injury.
Jokic had 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists at the time of his exit from the game.
The Nuggets are currently losing to the Miami Heat 94-85 in the third quarter.
