The Miami Dolphins are coming off their best win of the season, having put the Atlanta Falcons to bed in a 34-10 crushing in Georgia.
What was perhaps the most impressive tenet of the win for the Dolphins and their long-suffering fans was likely the performance of Tua Tagovailoa, who put up 4 touchdown passes.
Tagovailoa had thrown four interceptions since his last touchdown pass, and over the two weeks prior had thrown for 6 picks to just 1 TD – so the performance was uplifting to say the least.
However, speaking on Tuesday, head coach Mike McDaniel had some words to say about another first round quarterback, former New York Jet Zach Wilson, per ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques.
“Zach Wilson will remain the Dolphins’ backup quarterback”, Louis-Jacques posted on X on Tuesday, “Mike McDaniel said that could change over time, but for now it’s the “best thing” for the team”.
