Draft Kraft? Tucker Kraft Predicted to Finish 2025 as Top TE in Fantasy Football

The arrival of Micah Parsons in Green Bay has Cheese Heads in northern Wisconsin thinking the Lombardi Trophy has a chance of coming home in 2025.

Yet, multiple NFL analysts believe Packers TE Tucker Kraft could help the masses bring home their fantasy championship trophy in 2025.

Tucker Kraft Predicted to Finish 2025 NFL Season as Top TE in Fantasy Football

Dave Ventresca of Roto Baller knows he has an aggressive projection for Packers TE Tucker Kraft entering his third season, but that didn’t stop him from hitching his wagon to the South Dakota State product by predicting he will finish the year as the top overall TE producer in fantasy football with over 1,000 receiving yards and 10+ touchdowns in 2025.

“Okay, I might be getting a bit over my skis with this call, but there are a ton of reasons to love Kraft this year,” wrote Ventresca. “Kraft’s head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterback have all said he will have a bigger role in the offense this year. If that’s true, then Kraft could easily hit the above yardage and touchdown marks after posting a 50-707-7 line on just 70 targets last year. He scored very well across various metrics and is a legitimate force in the open field.”

Kraft did see his targets, receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns all increase from his rookie season, which is even more impressive when you take into consideration that Packers QB Jordan Love was in-and-out of the lineup while dealing with multiple injuries in 2024.

In fact, Kraft had such a productive season in 2024 that the Packers TE partnered with Kraft Mac & Cheese for a promotional deal that allows fantasy football players who select Kraft in their fantasy draft to have a chance at a $25k Big Cheese Ring. The slogan ‘Draft Kraft’ is simply too perfect not to acknowledge.

How Does the Arrival of Matthew Golden Impact Tucker Kraft in 2025?

The path to Kraft finishing as the TE1 overall in fantasy football does have some potential speed bumps to avoid. Such as the Packers shifting towards a more run-heavy approach 2024. Admittedly, this could’ve been an adjustment by head coach Matt LaFleur to reduce Love’s responsibilities while battling through injuries.

Another potential obstacle in the way of Kraft entering the elite fantasy TE conversation is the arrival of rookie WR Matthew Golden. The Packers spent the No. 22 overall pick on the Texas product and likely have high expectations for him entering the 2025 NFL season.

Yet, Golden shouldn’t eat into Kraft’s target volume a ton because they do occupy vastly different roles in the Packers’ passing game.

Jason Katz of Pro Football Sports Network wrote, “Kraft remains one of the most efficient tight ends in the league. His 2.64 yards per route run ranked second at the position. He also averaged 14.1 yards per reception, second in the league. The problem is volume.”

The volume of passing offense that played slow and took the air out of the ball could cap Kraft’s fantasy ceiling this year.

Yet, if the Packers get a bounce-back year from a healthy Jordan Love — which could lead to more passing attempts than we saw last season — then a TE1 overall finish is within the range of outcomes for Kraft in 2025.
