Evaluating the Raiders’ Top 5 Trade Assets and Their Market Value

After a disappointing 2-5 start to the season, it’s hard to be optimistic about the Las Vegas Raiders right now. The offensive line isn’t holding up, Geno Smith hasn’t been the quarterback the team was expecting, and the defense is falling apart. That said, it might be in the team’s best interest to be sellers, not buyers, this upcoming NFL trade deadline. This isn’t to say the team will trade players with high market value like Brock Bowers or Ashton Jeanty, but there is a reality that some other guys could be packing their bags soon.

Note: Trade values are estimations

5. Raheem Mostert, RB

Starting the list, Raheem Mostert could be an insurance policy-type pickup for a contending team in need of a running back.

The 33-year-old has appeared in four games for the Raiders this season, with 16 carries for 80 yards (5.0 yards per carry!) and two catches for 13 yards. It would be huge if the Raiders could get any sort of draft capital for him and let Jeanty take over as the dominant workhorse RB in the backfield.

Projected Trade Value: 2026 Seventh-Round Pick

4. Malcolm Koonce, DE

Malcolm Koonce has been floated in several trade packages throughout the offseason, including one for Cincinnati Bengals star pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, back when the Raiders had high hopes.

Now that the hope is fading away, Koonce likely won’t be traded for a player like Hendrickson, but he could be traded away for some draft capital. The 27-year-old pass rusher has notched 17 total tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble in seven starts with the team this season.

Projected Trade Value: 2026 Sixth-Round Pick + 2027 Sixth-Round Pick

3. Michael Mayer, TE

Michael Mayer

This is a complicated one, because Michael Mayer has been solid for the Raiders but has dealt with injuries and a lack of opportunities behind Bowers.

The Raiders would likely be hesitant to shop him, but if the price is right, the 24-year-old tight end could see his way out the door. Appearing in five games this season, Mayer has caught 12 passes for 107 yards and one touchdown.

Projected Trade Value: 2026 Fifth-Round Pick + 2026 Seventh-Round Pick

2. Jakobi Meyers, WR

Jakobi Meyers

Out of everyone on this list, Jakobi Meyers has the highest chance of being dealt by the trade deadline. He previously requested a trade during the offseason and has seen his role diminish behind wide receivers Tre Tucker, Jack Bech, and D’onte Thornton.

In the final year of his three-year, $33 million contract, the Raiders are “open” to trading Meyers, according to NFL insider Dianna Russini.

The team is not actively shopping the 28-year-old receiver, but there should be some trade interest from teams who are looking for WR help, including the New York Giants, New England Patriots, and Pittsburgh Steelers. Appearing in six games this season, Meyers has caught 29 passes for 329 yards and zero touchdowns.

Projected Trade Value: 2026 Fourth-Round Pick + Cash Considerations

1. Maxx Crosby, DE

Maxx Crosby

If there’s anyone Raiders fans would hate to see leave, it’s Maxx Crosby. He’s embodied what it means to be a Raider and is one of the top pass rushers in the league. But Las Vegas is wasting his potential, and it might be best for the team to get some massive draft capital back for a player that deserves better.

According to Trey Wingo, the Dallas Cowboys have already inquired about the availability of the 28-year-old superstar pass rusher, and more teams will likely check in as well. In seven games for the Raiders this season, Crosby has notched 28 total tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception.

Projected Trade Value: 2026 First-Round Pick, 2027 First-Round Pick, 2026 Fifth-Round Pick
