Gary Neville has tipped Harry Kane to make a sensational transfer return to the Premier League after finally winning a trophy at Bayern Munich.
The England captain ended a 19-year spell at Tottenham in 2023 to become the most expensive signing (€110m) in Bundesliga history, with Kane scoring 80 goals across his opening 89 games for Bayern Munich.
Kane became Spurs’ all-time top goalscorer – but never won a trophy in north London – with a Champions League runner-up finish in 2019, Premier League runner-up finish in 2017 and twice reaching the Carabao Cup final, narrowly missing out to Chelsea and Manchester City in 2015 and 2021.
Even with England, where Kane is also the all-time record goalscorer, he has come painfully close with runner-up finishes at the Euros two times.
The 31-year-old, widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers of his generation, missed out on a trophy again in his first season at Bayern Munich as Bayer Leverkusen managed to secure a league and cup double.

Kane finally ended his trophy curse this season, though, with Bayern Munich crowned champions of the German top-flight on Sunday under the management of Vincent Kompany.
Neville, speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, is delighted for Kane and has predicted that the Englishman may now look to return to his home country with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all seeking a new striker.
‘Harry Kane is one of the greatest strikers England has ever produced,’ Neville said. ‘He’s a brilliant professional and I wish we were watching him in the Premier League every singe week.
‘We miss him – his quality and class. You think of these two teams today (Chelsea and Liverpool), they’d love to have Kane up front.
‘Every team in the Premier League would. Manchester City have Erling Haaland but some teams are really lacking a top centre-forward.

‘Liverpool will be looking at a centre-forward, Manchester United will be looking at a centre-forward, Chelsea will be looking at a centre-forward
‘Arsenal we know are desperate for a centre-forward. Although I’m not sure he’d go to Arsenal! But you know, Kane will come back at some point.’
Some cynical fans have targeted Kane on social media for his Bundesliga triumph with Bayern Munich, claiming that it’s easy to win the league with the biggest and most dominant team in Germany.

But Neville feels Kane – strongly linked with a move to City before joining Bayern – has every right to celebrate the first major trophy of his career.
‘To win the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich, it’s a great achievement,’ Neville added. ‘I know they’ve won a lot of Bundesligas and last season it became a situation where he was mocked for going over there and not winning… but he’ll be happy tonight.
‘He’s someone that doesn’t get carried away by things like this – it’s what he expected – but he’ll feel a real warmth in the sense that he wanted to win trophies.
‘It’s why he was edging towards wanting to go to City a few seasons ago because he was desperate to be part of a successful team. He’s got all the goals, all the (individual) accolades, the England captaincy.
‘He’s England’s record goalscorer but he didn’t want to get to end of his career without having trophies and medals to show for it. He’s started on that journey now.’
