EURO 2024 LIVE: LATEST UPDATES FROM THE TOURNAMENT

And the star striker is now set to add to his amazing success as he will become England’s record appearance maker at major tournaments in Germany.

The Bayern Munich superstar will lead the national team against Serbia at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.

And Kane will pick up his 23rd cap at a game in a major tournament.

That means the forward will surpass previous record holder Ashley Cole.

Arsenal and Chelsea legend Cole was a stalwart for England during his playing days with many considering him as the greatest ever English left-back.

But the former defender will now surrender his crown to the talismanic Kane.

The Tottenham legend will now be hoping to add the one thing his stunning 15-year career is lacking.

And that is a trophy as he hasn’t been able to win silverware with Spurs, England or Bayern.

Gareth Southgate’s men are among the favourites to win Euro 2024 this summer.

The Three Lions made it to the final of Euro 2020 last time out but lost to Italy on penalties.

Kane also missed a spot-kick in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup against France who eliminated them in Qatar.
