There’s once again a record amount of total prize money up for grabs at Wimbledon this year.

The All England Club confirmed in June that the total prize money fund at this year’s Grand Slam tournament in SW19 stands at £53,500,000.

Carlos Alcaraz is the defending champion in the Wimbledon men’s singles after he defeated Novak Djokovic in the final for the second year in a row.

This year’s winner will pocket £3m and the runner-up will walk away with £1.52m.

What is the prize money for the Wimbledon 2025 women’s singles champion?

Barbora Krejcikova defeated Jasmine Paolini 6-2 2-6 6-4 to secure the Wimbledon women’s singles title last year.

In doing so, Krejcikova became the first player from the Czech Republic to secure women’s singles titles at different Grand Slams in the Open Era.

The prize money for the women’s singles winner and runner-up in 2025 is exactly the same as the men’s – £3m and £1.52m respectively.

How much do Wimbledon players get paid round-by-round?

First-round prize money for the singles competition is set at £66,000 – which then increases to £99,000 for the second round.

The third-round prize money is £152,000 and the fourth-round prize money stands at £240,000 for 2025.

The quarter-finalists and semi-finalists will earn £400,000 and £775,000 respectively.

What is the prize money in doubles tennis at Wimbledon 2025?

The total doubles prize money fund has increased to £6,034,000 for the men’s and women’s events.

The winners in the men’s doubles and women’s doubles will earn £680,000 per pair.

The mixed doubles champions, meanwhile, will pocket £135,000.
