When the fixture computer churned out Manchester United vs Arsenal for the opening weekend of the season there was excitement from fans of both clubs and neutrals alike.
It has been a big summer for Ruben Amorim’s side, with the Portuguese boasting an entirely new front line this season.
The signings of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have been widely praised and they will hope to hit the ground running on Sunday.
Arsenal have been busy in the transfer market as well, with Viktor Gyokeres brought in to add goals, while Martin Zubimendi is an impressive new addition in midfield.

This fixture ended 1-1 in March but Manchester United have struggled against Arsenal of late with four defeats and that one draw in their last five Premier League meetings.
However, they did have success against the Gunners in the FA Cup last season, knocking then out on penalties after another 1-1 draw.

The match kicks off at 4.30pm on Sunday August 17 at Old Trafford.

There are two 2pm kick-offs in the Premier League on Sunday, with Chelsea hosting Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest playing Brentford at the City Ground.
The Blues against the Eagles will be on Sky Sports Main Event and the Tricky Trees facing the Bees is on Sky Sports Premier League.
