Today’s UFC Fight Night: Ulberg vs. Reyes card is set to take place in Perth. Considering the time difference between Western Australia and the US, this has caused some confusion among fans regarding the start time for the event.
While the event will take place during the UFC’s usual Saturday night time-slot in the United States, because of the time change the card will start first thing Sunday morning in Western Australia.
For EU fans, this unfortunately means that the event will take place during the night like most US-based UFC cards.

UFC Perth Loses Fight at the Last Moment
Despite initially having 17 fights booked, the UFC Perth card is now down to just 12.
During weigh-ins, Justin Tafa wound up needing to be transferred to the hospital according to his opponent Louie Sutherland, who shared an update with fans via Instagram:
“Unfortunately my Fight is off! I’ve been told my opponent couldn’t make the weight and had to be taken to hospital with about 7-8lbs left to cut but I am still unsure of the specific details. I’m absolutely gutted & was so ready to put on a show. The fight game is full of ups & downs but onto the next one, hopefully not to long to wait.”
As Tafa indicated leading up to the fight, he and his wife are dealing with a high-risk pregnancy that has forced the couple to make multiple trips to the hospital on a weekly basis.
So far no word yet on whether the UFC will look to rebook the fight, or Sutherland will wind up fighting someone else in his UFC debut sometime before the end of the year.
