JOSHUA ZIRKZEE is set to miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury, it’s been claimed.
The Netherlands international was subbed in the second half of United’s thrashing at the hands of Newcastle last weekend after pulling up.

And the Dutchman is said to be in “danger” of missing the rest of the season with the ailment.
That’s according to The BBC, who claim the 23-year-old is set to be on the sidelines for “several weeks.”
They also claim there is “some doubt” whether the former Bologna man will be able to play again this campaign due to the “severity” of the hamstring strain.
United gaffer Ruben Amorim is expected to provide clarity on the forward’s fitness on Wednesday ahead of the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie with Lyon.
The Portuguese, who replaced Erik ten Hag at the Old Trafford helm last November, wasn’t optimistic about Zirkzee’s chances of playing against the French giants on Thursday.
He said: “We had to make rotation because we are trying to recover in two days from each game.
“But trying to win this game also.
“Josh, I think he will be out for some games. So, let’s focus on the next one [against Lyon].”
Zirkzee, who has seven goals and two assists to his name this season, was one of United’s few bright sparks in their 4-1 loss to Carabao Cup holders Newcastle.
And he was equally as impressive in the 2-2 draw against Lyon last Thursday, giving the Red Devils the lead in the 88th minute.
Zirkzee’s injury has come at the worst time for Amorim, who now has only ONE eligible striker for the visit of Lyon.
Rasmus Hojlund will now lead the line for United in their do-or-die clash with the Ligue 1 giants.
And the 22-year-old will likely have to improve on his season haul of eight goals if the Red Devils are to have any chance of making the semis.
