The Tennessee Titans fired their second-year coach Brian Callahan last week, beginning the coaching carousel in the NFL, with others on the hot seat.
According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, another offensive coordinator for the MVP Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills would be among the candidates being considered for a head coaching job.
Joe Brady, who is in his second year as Bills offensive coordinator, would be a name to watch for the Titans job, according to Russini.
Brady succeeded Ken Dorsey, who had previously replaced Brian Daboll after Daboll left to become the head coach of the New York Giants.

Bills Rushing Offense Elite, but Pass Game Waning
Although Allen is still playing MVP-caliber football, the Bills have ultimately been more successful this season running the ball. Led by running back James Cook, the Bills rank second in rushing yards per game, only behind the Bijan Robinson-led Atlanta Falcons.
Overall, the Bills rank third in total offensive yards per game. The passing game is outside of the top 10 in yards, despite Allen having a 103.1 passer rating (second-best of his career). The question is being raised whether or not the Bills have a receiver problem.
Brady defended the team’s receivers after questions from the media last week. “I think you guys think I’m lying to you guys when I say that I’m good with our guys. I have confidence,” he said one day after the Bills (4-2) lost to the Falcons (3-2) on “Monday Night Football.”
Aside from Josh Palmer, who exited early in the second quarter with an ankle injury, Bills wide receivers Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Tyrell Shavers, and Elijah Moore combined for just nine catches on 18 targets for 71 yards — production far from what’s needed to win consistently in the NFL.
Through six games, Shakir, Coleman, Palmer have posted similar production. Shakir leads the group with 25 catches for 268 yards and two touchdowns, followed closely by Coleman with 24 receptions for 237 yards and two scores. Palmer, who is week-to-week, trails slightly with 14 catches for 234 yards and no touchdowns.
“Look, we’ve lost two games. It should feel, at least from the outside, it should feel like the sky is falling, right? There’s got to be a level of urgency. We’re not okay with how we’ve played,” said Brady.
“We’re going to figure it out because we’re going to dive into it. We’re going to come up with solutions and, kind of hit the ground running again,” he added. “As long as there’s 11 guys in the huddle, man, I’m going to have all the faith and the confidence in the guys that we have. I don’t blink. Injuries are going to happen.”
