The Newcastle star, 23, is already a world champion and won the Olympic silver medal at Paris 2024 last summer.
But this weekend he etched his name into the history books once again by smashing two new records with never-seen-before moves.
As part of the Red Bull Featured event in Manchester – where a total of 11 world records fell – riders had the chance to experiment with new tricks in a thrilling spectacle.
Crucially, though, the new format meant there was no punishment for mistakes or failed attempts – giving greater licence to try extraordinary feats.
And that is exactly what Reilly did, despite his major health scare.
Just 48 hours before the event, the fearless freestyler was in hospital with suspected appendicitis.
In an Instagram video, he explained how he had been “vomitting excessively” and “wasn’t sure” if he was going to be able to take to the ramps.
Thankfully, though, the Geordie recovered enough – and produced his two magic moments.

Reilly nailed a 540 Triple Tailwhip to Bar Spin on the quarter pipe with apparent ease then slid down on the back in celebration.
And he backed it up by completing a 720 Triple Tailwhip in the box jump feature.
Reilly spun his BMX with two full rotations then did a full turn of his body as he got back on the bike before hitting the slope again.
He held on – before crashing into a pal at the side of the ramp.
But the landing was legitimate and another new world record was his – and secured him top spot on the podium for the night.
The videos were posted on social media with floods of comments.
Reilly himself said: “I was stressed about missing the event… no joke at one point I thought about a 720 triple whip and the idea of spinning that much made me throw up.”
BMX icon and event creator Sebastian Keep added: “Literally back from the dead! I came to your hotel room, you had a fever and throwing up! I thought there is no way in a million years he is riding at elite level tomorrow! From A&E to the podium for this kid.”

And adidas replied: “There isn’t anyone better.”
A buzzing Reilly said following his record-breaking exploits and victory: “Learning a new trick is the best feeling, and doing something no one has ever done before just tops it.
“The last trick was one of the scariest I’ve ever done, and to even just leave here healthy is amazing, let alone achieve two world’s first tricks.
“I’ve been so excited for this event as soon as it was announced. I was buzzing to get out there.
“It’s a different type of pressure from other events as you’re aiming to give the crowd something they’ve never seen before.
“I was hurting a lot before my last attempt but I just gritted my teeth and went for something I thought could win me the title.
“I’m so glad it came off and to win is the best feeling.”
