The Nigerian-born New Zealander will look to become a three-time titleholder on August 17 in a grudge match with champion Dricus Du Plessis in the main event of UFC 305 in Perth, Australia.

And The Last Stylebender has put DDP and the rest of the division on notice with a bone-chilling vow.

Adesanya released a hype video to promote his eagerly-anticipated return on Tuesday, which opened up with the text: “Don’t be afraid, be terrified.”

The closing moments of the video included an audio segment from the 1983 Hollywood blockbuster ‘Scarface’, in which Tony Montana is fending off an armed assault on his Miami home.

“You think you can take me?” roared actor Al Pacino. “You need a f***ing army if you’re going to take me.

“You hear? I’ll take you all to f***ing hell.”

Adesanya’s grim message came just days after he revealed he’s taking off the “heads” of his rivals is what’s motivating him at this stage of his MMA career.

He said: “I have belts, I don’t need any more belts. I’m coming for heads.”

The build-up to Du Plessis vs Adesanya will be one of the tastiest in recent UFC history.

The bad blood between the pair began last March when Du Plessis declared himself “the African fighter in the UFC.”

The South African made the claim on account of the fact he still lives and trains in the continent.

Adesanya took great exception to Du Plessis’ suggestion that none of the belts won by himself Kamaru Usman or Francis Ngannou went back to Africa.

A fired-up Adesanya responded by vowing to drag Du Plessis’ carcass through South Africa before a fiery and expletive-filled face-off last July after the former KSW and EFC champion’s shock win over Robert Whittaker.

Du Plessis insists he meant no harm with his comments and is adamant he didn’t try to claim Adesanya, Usman or Ngannou are less African than he is.
