Grealish will look more like Haaland in terms of appearance

However, the versatile forward has struggled to live up to his billing this season having been overshadowed by other star team-mates, such as Erling Haaland.

Nevertheless, the England international looks set to emulate Haaland, 24, by becoming the “hair” apparent on the pitch.

And the timing is great as the star striker is sidelined with an ankle injury.

Grealish has what it takes to fill in for an elite footballer like the Norway international.

We don’t know, however, if the winger will be playing like Haaland.

What we know for certain is that he will look like the Norwegian sensation in terms of appearance.

Grealish ditched his signature hairstyle and switched it for a ponytail.

Haaland has stood out for his goalscoring exploits as well as his rich blonde hairdo, which has also led to sponsorship deals with major shampoo brands.

So Grealish has big boots to fill across the board as City push for a late Champions League qualification.

Man City are fourth in the Premier League table with only one point separating them from sixth place amid Pep Guardiola’s worst ever season as manager.

And Grealish can’t afford to let his hair down as he will need to add to his mere total of three goals and five assists in 31 appearances.
