Burton did not hesitate when asked about his top priority for the season. He made it clear that Daytona remains at the top of his list.

2021 Daytona finish still fuels motivation
Burton’s hunger to win at Daytona is tied directly to how close he came in 2021. During the season opener that year, he drove the No. 10 car and put himself in position to win.
“I’ve been close to winning there before, and leading in Turn 3 on the last lap in the No. 10 car in 2021 was the closest, Burton said.”

Burton also confirmed that Golden Corral will return as a sponsor for the 2026 season. He said that support matters, especially after how the previous season unfolded.
Burton also pointed to the growing technical support behind his program. Jordan Anderson Racing continues its alliance with Richard Childress Racing, which gives the team access to more resources and data.
“I feel like this new RCR support that we are getting should definitely make our program better, Burton said. We are working hard to try to use those resources correctly.”
Burton last won in the series in 2023. He finished the 2025 season 14th in the standings and recorded eight top-10 finishes. He did not reach the playoffs, but he remained competitive throughout the year.
Superspeedway races remain his strongest events. With returning sponsorship, added technical backing, and a clear goal, Burton heads into the 2026 Daytona opener focused on one outcome. A win would close the final gap in his family’s Daytona legacy.
