The New York Jets are nearing the end of their season, but with the team sitting at 3â13, much of the conversation has already shifted toward the 2026 NFL Draft after a disappointing year in New York.
The Jets will have plenty of draft capital in 2026, including two first-round selections. If the season ended today, New York would hold the third overall pick along with the 18th pick (via Indianapolis). Those two valuable selections, if used wisely, could help change the trajectory of a franchise that has struggled for years.
In his most recent mock draft, NFL Draft analyst Ryan Wilson projects the Jets using both of their first-round picks to address the offense, selecting quarterback Dante Moore (Oregon) with the third overall pick and wide receiver Denzel Boston (Washington) at No. 18.
Adding two young offensive talents with significant upside would be a realistic approach for a team that has averaged just 11.5 points per game over its last four matchups.

In-Depth Look at Dante Moore
Dante Moore is one of the top prospects for the quarterback-needy Jets to consider entering the 2026 NFL Draft, and there is no question the team needs help at the position, as their passing offense ranks last in the league, averaging just 145.8 passing yards per game, according to Fox Sports.
“Moore is a composed, confident pocket passer who thrives under pressure, consistently working through progressions and delivering accurate, tight-window throws with anticipation,” wrote Wilson. “He’s highly effective when moving the launch point, showing the arm strength and touch to attack every level of the field â often off-platform.”
“While not a true dual-threat, Moore’s poise, vision and athleticism allow him to extend plays and create when protection breaks down, and he repeatedly shows up in big moments.”
Moore has good size at 6’3″ and has proven to be an effective passer, throwing 28 touchdowns this season, according to ESPN.
The Oregon product will take center stage in the College Football Playoff as No. 5 seed Oregon faces No. 4 seed Texas Tech on Thursday, Jan. 1, at 12 p.m. ET.

In-Depth Look at Denzel Boston
Denzel Boston is also a highly touted prospect. The lengthy 6’4″ wide receiver out of Washington recorded 881 receiving yards in the 2025 season, while also hauling in 11 touchdowns, according to ESPN.
“A big, physical WR with a massive catch radius, contested-catch ability and the speed to separate quickly and hit top-end velocity in 2-3 steps,” wrote Wilson. “Boston is an effective route runner at all three levels, will run through arm tackles in space, and can outmuscle defenders in the red zone.”
“While primarily an outside threat, his size, strength and hands make him a potential matchup problem in the slot, too.”
Although the Jets have pieces at wide receiver with potential upside in Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie, they lack a true No. 2 wide receiver to pair with their star receiver Garrett Wilson, and Boston could be the player to fill that hole.
